The star-studded show captivates with its multi-layered story, blatant twists and excellent cast. The first season received seven Emmy nominations and a 100% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes. Now Season 2 of Yellowjackets is coming to Germany.

Exciting plot and top-class cast
In 1996, the lives of a group of schoolgirls changed abruptly. An American high school soccer team is en route to a national tournament when their plane crashes in the Canadian woods. There the survivors are exposed to the forces of nature, but above all to each other. For hunger and fear take them beyond the limits of their morality.
The special thing about the story: At the same time, we jump 25 years into the future (our present), where we meet some of the adult students again. It quickly becomes clear: The terrible past and the secrets of her struggle for survival won’t let her go.
The Yellowjackets cast is full of familiar faces. The Last of Us star Melanie Lynskey co-stars, as does Natural Born Killers cult star Juliette Lewis and the original Wednesday Addams herself, Christina Ricci. The cast also includes Scream Shooting star Jasmine Savoy Brown and Army of the Dead actress Ella Purnell.
Season 2 even joins Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood for a guest appearance, promising a nostalgic reunion with his Froststorm co-star Ricci.
Dark, mysterious, complex: That’s why Yellowjackets is worth it
Yellowjackets is a complex survival thriller with a touch of mystery and is therefore often compared to the classic Lost.

The series has an excellent average score of 100 percent on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes and it also has a very good 78 point on Metacritic. So if you love Lost or like to watch series like The Wilds, Manifest or The 100, you should definitely give Yellowjackets a chance.
And everyone who already knows the series should mark March 24th in yellow in their calendars anyway. Then Yellowjackets returns with Season 2.
