One of the best film series continues In the new

The friendliest bear in history is finally back in the cinema with a new film: seven years have passed since Paddington had his last adventure on the streets of London. Now he goes to Peru with the Browns to visit his Aunt Lucy. But it has disappeared.

In the search for Aunt Lucy, Paddington and Co. become involved in a turbulent treasure hunt, as the new trailer for Paddington in Peru reveals. The third part of the fantasy series takes hold Legend of the Golden City aka Eldorado and looks like a secret Indiana Jones film. Get ready for a playful action adventure!

The new trailer for Paddington in Peru follows in the footsteps of Indiana Jones and Werner Herzog

Paddington in Peru – Trailer 2 (German) HD

Just like Indy, Paddington runs from one gigantic stone ball of this, while further action scenes are reminiscent of Steven Spielberg’s often underestimated Tintin film, not to mention great adventure classics like African Queen from 1951. But Paddington in Peru had completely different role models.

Two Werner Herzog masterpieces were the inspiration for the sequel directed by Dougal Wilson: Aguirre, the Wrath of God (1972) and Fitzcarraldo (1982). In both films we follow characters through the jungle. While Aguirre is also looking for the golden city, Fitzcarraldo wants to move a ship over a mountain.

Based on the new trailer, treasures and ships are a crucial part of Paddington in Peru, which also features loving humor and some slapstick interludes. Paddington rolling around tied to a steering wheel – that’s already one of the funniest images of the next cinema year.

Big fantasy adventure in the darkest jungle of Peru: When does Paddington 3 start in the cinema?

In Great Britain, Paddington’s next adventure begins in November. In this country, however, we have to be patient a little longer. Part 3 of the great fantasy series will only be released in Germany on January 30, 2025 to the cinema. And it’s not over yet: StudioCanal UK is planning part 4 of the live-action film series in addition to a new Paddington series.
