Just in time for the weekend, Disney+ is expanding its range with new films and series. We would like to recommend one newcomer in particular: You can now watch Heat on Disney’s streaming service. Released in 1995, the action film is considered one of the best representative of its genre and captivates for 170 minutes.
Heat was staged by director Michael Mann, who is well versed in action. He is known for films such as Thief, Collateral and the series Miami Vice. Appears in many lists Heat as his best film on. It tells the story of a criminal and the cop who wants to put him behind bars.

Robert De Niro will play Neil McCauley, who has done several big things in Los Angeles and always got away is. The ambitious cop Vincent Hanna, played by Al Pacino, doesn’t want to let that sit on him. With every means at his disposal he tries to catch McCauley and his team.

Building on this premise, Mann unleashes an almost three-hour epic that is as compelling in its action as it is in its emotional moments. He stages a bank robbery in a particularly impressive manner. Every ending the ensuing chase can be felt. Action cinema doesn’t get much better than this.
What few fans know: Heat did indeed get a sequel, albeit many years later. In 2022 Mann published the Roman Heat 2, which narrates what happens before and after the events of the film. A film adaptation is also planned. In this, Kylo Ren actor Adam Driver could slip into the role of De Niro’s character.
