Everyone imagined this Resident Evil series differently: hardcore fans and horror fans, but also the people in front of and behind the camera. A few days ago, Netflix canceled the sci-fi horror after just one season. A month and a half after the start, the bad reactions weighed too heavily.
However, a Resident Evil star wants the ratings and the associated dismissal don’t just accept it. Lance Reddick (John Wick) played virologist Albert Wesker in the series. He recently made a statement on his Twitter account.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the pure audience numbers were acceptable. However, Resident Evil cashed in on the biggest aggregators hearty slaps. On IMDB, the series has an embarrassing 3.9 – such a rating is extremely rare, if not unique, for a series with a franchise connection and relatively high production costs. At Rotten Tomatoes, too, the audience only gave a total of 26 percent positive ratings. The overall rating on Moviepilot, on the other hand, looks almost moderate: 4.3 points come together.
