In general, the drama about a young mother who had to work as a cleaner became a surprise hit on Netflix. 1. The Maid sequel already has a release date – in book form
For one thing, the Maid sequel has just gotten off to a book start (in English for now) on November 7, 2023 receive. 2. TikTok fans are giving Maid a second renaissance on Netflix

The reason for this may be that the series is currently on the social media platform TikTok rediscovered where the most viral video reached over 61 million viewers in a week. Ginny & Georgia recently experienced a similar push, including a return to the top lists, thanks to TikTok; and this is known to be a series that has just been renewed by Netflix for 2 more seasons.

Whether Maid and the strong cast will really get a second season after this unexpected upswing on Netflix is of course neither certain nor officially announced in any way at the moment. But the likelihood that a completed Netflix series will return here has just increased enormously.
