From 2011 to 2019, the legal series Suits was broadcast on the USA Network. The story revolves around one emerging law firm in the heart of New York, directed by Harvey Reginald Specter (Gabriel Macht). While looking for a new partner, Michael “Mike” Ross (Patrick J. Adams), a cheating college dropout, catches his eye.
Suits consists of nine seasons with a total of 134 episodes. Nobody expected the series to make a comeback in recent years. Last but not least, it was very difficult to keep the main cast together in the last few seasons. But now the series has one unexpected surge in popularity receive. Because in addition to the streaming service Peacock, the first eight seasons have been available on Netflix in the USA since the end of July.
Suits comeback on Netflix fuels speculation for season 10: could the series really return?
As reported by TVLine, Suits broke a notable streaming record. The late success also reached those responsible for the series and caused speculation: Could Suits return for a season 10, reunion or reboot? This is exactly the question TVLine Suits producer Gene Klein asked. His answer is as follows:
In a time full of reboots, reunions and similar projects, I reckon that at some point I’ll get a call. From concrete conversations [über eine Rückkehr von Suits] I don’t know. I wouldn’t be surprised if the call comes eventually. So far I haven’t noticed anything.
