One of Netflixs best sci fi series returns after 4 years

After starting on the BBC, Black Mirror continued as a Netflix production from 2016. The dystopian sci-fi series by satirist Charlie Brooker, who is now upping the ante, has now had 5 seasons. Black Mirror season 6 starts in June five new, apparently extra-long episodes on the streaming service. The first trailer reveals the exact launch and reveals that one of the new episodes also makes fun of Netflix itself.

Information about the content of the new Black Mirror episodes on Netflix

Four years have passed since the last season. Brooker himself says about the new episodes that they different and more challenging than anything we’ve seen in Black Mirror form to date.

Five episodes, which are even referred to as films in the trailer, are again waiting for you as self-contained stories. Included this time:

  • Joan Is Awful: A woman (Annie Murphy) finds out her life has been transformed into a streaming series starring Salma Hayek in the role of her life.
  • Loch Henry: A couple of documentary filmmakers search for a kidnapper in a Scottish town.
  • Beyond the Sea: A ’60s-style astronaut story starring Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul and Josh Hartnett.
  • Mazey Day: A struggling star is pursued by a group of paparazzi (including Zazie Beetz).
  • Demon 79: A horror-inspired story about a sales clerk who is set to commit horrible deeds.
