Wudijo disassembled it. One of the most famous and best players in Diablo 4 has lost his hardcore hero at level 100. An emote became his undoing in the toughest fight. To “honour” there is a cynical eulogy by Megan Fox.
Who is the expert?
This is how Wudijo died: Wudijo tried his hand at the “Pinnacle Boss”, the toughest enemy in Diablo 4. The boss is designed for level 100 and is intended to test all your skills and knowledge of the game.
The expert faces the boss not for the first time. He dared to fight before, but fled after 24 minutes. He still had a few tricks up his sleeve that saved his life.
Wudijo tried that this time too. Only one feature was his undoing: the emote wheel. He opened it up to use a quick slot but got “the wrong wheel”. Instead, his character demanded loudly: “Stop!” – and at the same moment blessed the time:
That’s why this is so tragic: Diablo 4’s hardcore mode is a “permadeath mode”. This means: your character dies permanently and cannot revive itself. If he’s dead, he stays dead and that’s it.
Wudijo’s Slayer was already at level 100, which alone takes many hours of grinding. In addition, he had a pretty strong build with good equipment. A total of 150 hours were lost as a result, as Wudijo himself estimates.
Do you also want to die as quickly as possible at the final boss? Here are some level tips:
Megan Fox praises: “Hey, good job Hunter!”
At least there is a small “consolation”: a greeting from Megan Fox. The actress now gives eulogies to hardcore gamers who share their particularly horrific deaths on social media.
Blizzard then shared clips on the game’s official Twitter channel of Megan Fox commenting on the death. In Wudijo’s case, she says, “Hey, good job Hunter! I liked the part where you panicked and got crushed like a tiny baby.”
In addition to Wudijo, well-known figures such as shroud and Dr. Lupo received the dubious honor of a personalized greeting. The streamers apparently take their deaths with humor, even if there is a lot of effort behind the grind.
Wudijo himself commented on his death live quite soberly and says: “Wow, you [der Boss] really does a lot of damage now.” He was still analyzing his death, but then continued straight away. And at least he has now found out that certain items can be bound directly to keys.
Another hunter was already prepared in advance for level 50, which he has in the meantime continued to play over level 62. Another icon, meanwhile, is pretty bad at Blizzard:
