One municipality has more asylum seekers the other municipality has

The province of Utrecht also wants help from the government. “The dispersal law is now only about quantity. Every municipality has to accommodate that many asylum seekers. But the province also wants to focus on quality.” This means tailor-made solutions, with not only large asylum seeker centers for 500 people, but also reception options for 40, 80 or 120 people. And the focus on mixed housing where asylum seekers, status holders and local home seekers live together. Moreover, the province wants refugees who are received here to also flow out of this region as status holders if they are granted asylum.
