A man in his 40s is charged at Örebro district court with serious child pornography offences. He is suspected of possessing thousands of child pornographic images, of which 420 are judged to be particularly reckless abuse material, reports SVT Nyheter Örebro.
The evidence consists of a total of 8,709 child pornographic images and 13 films with a running time of just over 70 minutes.
According to the indictment, the crime must have been committed until May 2020.
The man is also charged with having distributed a child pornographic image to another person via a mobile app.
The defendant denies wrongdoing.
