The murder of Adriana – shot dead at McDonald’s in Norsborg

It was the night of August 2, 2020 that several people in a car opened fire on two men who were outside a fast food restaurant in Norsborg, south of Stockholm.

The men escaped unharmed, but twelve years old Adriana was hit and killed.

The background to the shooting is according to the prosecutor Anna Sweden a conflict between criminal groups in southern Stockholm.

Three men, now 25, 31 and 33 years old, were sentenced in the district court to life imprisonment for the murder, as well as the attempted murder of seven other people who were in the firing line.

Two men get life for Adriana’s murder

The Svea Court of Appeal confirms the life sentences against the 31-year-old and the 33-year-old, who are also sentenced to higher damages of just over SEK 385,000 to Adriana’s mother. They are acquitted at the same time of a charge of preparation for murder.

However, the Court of Appeal does not consider that the evidence is sufficient for a conviction against the 25-year-old regarding murder and attempted murder, and he is acquitted in those respects. However, he is sentenced for preparation for murder.

The Court of Appeal also upholds the sentences for two men who were convicted in the district court for aggravated protection of a criminal and aggravated weapons crime, respectively, but shortens the prison sentences to 1 year and 10 months and 6 months respectively.
