A seriously injured person has been taken to hospital after a shooting in Eskilstuna, the police announce. A suspected crime scene in a residential area is cordoned off.
– It’s an adult, I can’t say much more at the moment, says Olle Älveroth, press spokesperson at the police.
The police are investigating attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences. At the moment, no one is in custody.
– We have no concrete suspect at the moment. But we are of course trying to catch any perpetrators.
The police are working to secure any leads and door knocking.
