Gunshots left one person dead in La Grande-Motte on Monday, August 26, near the La Dune nightclub. It appears to be an attempted murder targeting the artist SCH.
La Grande-Motte is once again in the headlines this Monday morning, for criminal acts that have no connection with the attack on the synagogue that occurred last week. As reported by France info and BFMTV, a firearm attack left one person dead this Monday, August 26, around 6 a.m., near the La Dune nightclub, a popular spot in the seaside town in Hérault.
According to the first elements of the investigation, it was the Marseille rapper SCH who was targeted. The latter sang on Sunday evening, August 25 in this nightclub. We already know that this attack, clearly premeditated and well organized, was carried out from a car. Four people on board this vehicle allegedly carried out an assault with automatic firearms, targeting another car. The passenger was killed and the driver was seriously injured by a burst of gunfire. The rapper SCH was not in the attacked car at the time of the assault.
According to information from Midi Libre, the victims were indeed part of the close entourage of a rapper: the man killed was a member of his artistic team and the seriously injured man is the rapper’s driver. The investigation has been entrusted to the Montpellier research section.
