The classic Mineiro of Brazilian soccer was dyed in mourning. A massive fight between the fans of Atlético Mineiro and Cruzeiro ended with a deceased fan. The altercation occurred before the meeting. In the middle of the fight, a person was shot and, despite the fact that he was treated, nothing could be done for his life. The events took place in the Boa Vista neighborhood, in the Eastern Region of Belo Horizonte.
The 25-year-old Cruzeiro fan was referred to the João XXIII Emergency Hospital. He underwent surgery in the abdomen region, but did not survive. Witnesses told the Military Police that at least two men were shot and taken to the East Emergency Unit (UPA)in the Vera Cruz neighborhood, in the same region.
In addition to the deceased fan, the other wounded by a bullet declared that he was passing by the place and was surprised by the confrontation. He was shot in the shoulder, medicated and released. As of noon in Brazil, no suspects had been arrested.
