  • One dead after knife attack in Rotterdam

    One person was killed and another seriously injured in a knife attack in Rotterdam on Thursday evening. The suspected perpetrator has been arrested, according to Dutch Nos.

    The attack took place at Wilhelmsplein and the Erasmus Bridge. According to witnesses, the suspect, who is said to have been armed with two knives, first attacked one person in a parking garage and then another on his way up from the garage.

    According to witnesses, the man was heard shouting “Allahu akbar” during the attack.

    Lenders to the struggling battery manufacturer Northvolt have now engaged the investment bank PTJ Partners.
