One beer and curry stew could be costly for British opposition leader – if police fined for coronary offense, Starmer resigns

One beer and curry stew could be costly for British

British Labor leader Keir Starmer harshly criticized Prime Minister Boris Johnson for holding parties at the worst of Korona. Now he had to take the place of the explanator himself.

Labor leader also proclaimed British prime minister Keir Starmer said Monday ready to resign (move to another service) his duties if police investigations reveal that he has violated the corona restrictions.

However, Starmer assured reporters that “he has always followed the interest rate rules.”

The case now under investigation relates to an event held in April 2021 in the city of Durham. On a business trip, Starmer ate a cyrrh stew ordered on the spot and drank beer from a Labor MP. Mary Foyn in the study.

According to a Labor spokesman, the point is unequivocal: Starmer enjoyed his meal while working and did not violate Britain’s harsh corona regulations at the time.

Demanded Johnson’s resignation

What makes Starmer particularly embarrassed is that he has been prime minister Boris Johnson harshest critic (moving to another service)after he was caught in a series of celebrations at his official residence – and thus at the time of the corona violations.

Starmer called Johnson in front of Parliament a man who is not ashamed.

Johnson had to pay fines of just over 50 euros for his offenses, but was also in danger of losing his position as prime minister.

Now 59, Starmer himself has found himself in a similar position as an opposition leader. Of course, with the difference that he would no longer have the opportunity to continue in his office if the investigating Durham Police Department found that the conference crowd had violated the interest rate rules.
