A person was arrested on Monday afternoon on suspicion of attempted murder in Kumla municipality.
According to the police, the person – who is in his 40s – is suspected of having seriously injured a person of the same age with some type of affection. The person has been taken to hospital.
A third person has also been seriously injured as a result of the incident.
– The incident took place indoors and we were able to arrest the person in the immediate vicinity of the scene, says Lars Hedelin, press spokesperson at the police.
– What happened is a serious assault classified as attempted murder.
The alarm was received by the police shortly before 6 p.m.
