After the French bac exams, candidates are only waiting for one thing, their results. Where can we find them, on what date and how?
The results of the early French exam are coming! In a few days, all first-year students will be able to find out if they understood the topics of the written exam that took place earlier in June and if they were able to meet the jury’s expectations for the oral exam that takes place from June 24 to July 5.
The publication of the results begins on July 9, except in Corsica where they will be published from July 5, but some students will perhaps only have them on the 12th, because these results, unlike those of the baccalaureate, are not published nationally but through each academy.
Once published, they can be consulted on the‘Cyclades area and they stay online at least until the start of the school year. Connecting the high school student to the National Education website is the only way to view the grades, since they are not public.
Although they take time to arrive, for certain candidates, the results of the French baccalaureate allow high school students to know whether next year they will begin the final exams with points ahead or, conversely, points behind on average 10/20 to obtain. The written and oral French tests each count coefficient 5, or 10 between them, in the average of the baccalaureate, a significant proportion of the final mark.
The results of the anticipated French tests are not delivered as “Admitted” or “Deferred”, like the results of the baccalaureate. These are marks out of twenty which are awarded to each candidate. They can consult them via their academy website, online, once logged in with their personal identifier. Unlike the results of the final year exams, the media do not report the verdict for the French baccalaureate.
Knowing the publication date of the French baccalaureate results is even more useful: as soon as it is released, the transcript is displayed on the academy website. The candidate also receives it by post every few days.
The results of the anticipated French baccalaureate test will be available from July 9 depending on the academies. Dates and times are available below but some academies have not yet provided this information. To view your grade, click on the name of your academy, you will be redirected to the official website giving access to the candidates’ grades:
Their results in the anticipated French bac exams allow Première candidates to determine the “points ahead” or “behind” that they will have collected for next year. These marks will in fact be taken into account in the total average of the exam marks. In practice, a good result can therefore be considered as “points ahead” on the final exams; while with an average lower than 10/20 we speak of “points behind”.
