On Instagram, it is possible to save a post as a draft to edit it later. Ideal when you want to share a beautiful image or a story but lack the inspiration to finalize it!

instagram”>Saving a post in draft mode is one of the little-known functions on Instagram. But it can be very practical once you master it. And for good reason: it allows you to prepare in advance its publication and to keep it in a virtual library. It is also the insurance not to lose the work carried out on a photo or a video which one decides to publish later. All the elements already prepared in advance are kept: the filter applied to the image, the caption, the identification of another account, the location of the publication (location of the shot).

How do I save an Instagram post in draft mode?

  • Open the Instagram app and tap the icon + at the bottom of the screen to create your post.
  • Prepare your post in the usual way, choosing the photo or video you want to share.
  • To be able to save the publication as a draft, fill in one of the following fields: caption, identification of an account or geolocation of the image.
