(Finance) – Omnia Technologiesan Italian group active in the field of automation and bottling technologies for the spirits, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, dairy products and pharmaceuticals sectors, has the acquisition of Tecnomaco completed.
Founded in 1994 in Aprilia (Latina), Tecnomaco is a leading company in the machinery segment for pharmaceutical packagingproviding complete packaging lines for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetics industries. Tecnomaco has over 80 employees and an installed base of more than 1,000 machines and production lines in 90 countries.
The entry of Tecnomaco expands and strengthens the Life Sciences division of Omnia Technologies, which combines the experience of the best specialists in automation technologies for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and diagnostic industries thanks to other prestigious historical brands such as Comas, Giuseppe Desirò and TecnoTrend.
Omnia Technologies was created in November 2020 by Investindustrial, a private equity firm led by Andrea Bonomi, through the combination of Della Toffola, Bertolaso, TMCI Padovan, ACMI and the integration of several other strategic and complementary companies. Following the acquisition of Tecnomaco, Omnia Technologies generates a consolidated turnover of over 700 million euroswith 36 production sites, 24 sales offices and more than 2,400 employees
