Omer, production value rises to 57 million euros in 2021

(Finance) – Omer registered in 2021 a production value equal to 57 million euros, up by 24% approximately compared to the 46 million euros of the pro-forma 2020 consolidated financial statements and against a 2021 guidance (presented at the listing stage) of 53 million euros. This was announced in a note by the company, listed on Euronext Growth Italia and active in the sector of components and interior furnishings for railway vehicles, which has elaborated the values ​​considering the subsidiary OMER North America Corp in the scope of consolidation from the date of purchase (May 31, 2021). Growth was supported by the continuation of the contracts acquired in the past years, mainly for Hitachi and Alstom / Bombardier customers. In particular, production activity involved Hitachi’s Caravaggio projects and the Regio 2N, Movia C30 and ReR projects for Alstom / Bombardier.

“Omer’s growth, achieved in a very difficult year, still strongly influenced by the persistence of the effects of the pandemic from Covid-19 and fromincrease in the cost of raw materialsit was possible thanks to all the staff of the company, who contributed with great commitment and determination to the achievement of the objectives – he added – Despite a pandemic situation not yet normalized, as well as an international geopolitical situation that today appears particularly complex, we are confident that also for 2022 there may be the conditions to continue on the growth trend that characterized the year just ended “.

The Value of Production was realized for 55% in Italy, 19% in France, 9% in Germany, 6% in the USA and the remaining 10% in other countries. At the product level, 75% of the Production Value is made up of furnishings, followed by 11% fairings and 8% toilets. L’EBITDA stands at 15 million euros, up by approximately 50% compared to the 10 million euros of the consolidated 2020 pro-forma, and compared to a 2021 guidance of 14.5 million euros. L’EBITDA Margin it goes from 22.3% pro-forma to 26.3% and is in line with the forecast. There Consolidated Net Financial Position was positive (Cash) for approximately 19 million euros compared to a positive Consolidated Net Financial Position at 30 June 2021 of 3 million euros. The backlog is equal to 113 million euros.
