The relatives of the murdered Nadia van de Ven are anxiously awaiting the verdict of the judge, as they do every two years. “I think it is irresponsible that this man is going to return to society,” says Lucinda van de Ven, Nadia’s sister. “This is someone who has many serious violent incidents to his name. So as far as I’m concerned, the risk of recidivism is high.”
