Utrecht – A young Amersfoort woman who reported rape to the police at the end of 2019 had to wait two and a half years before the man she identified as the perpetrator was arrested. In the meantime, the now 33-year-old Meron G. from Utrecht is said to have made two more victims. Today, the public prosecutor in the Utrecht court demanded six years in prison against the suspect for abuse of three vulnerable young women, including a minor. In two cases, the Public Prosecution Service finds multiple rape proven.
