A 14-year-old boy who was seriously injured in a stabbing at the explosion lock between Nieuwegein and Houten on September 15 last year was the victim of a targeted murder attempt. This was argued by the public prosecutor during the trial of a 31-year-old woman who had agreed with a 16-year-old co-suspect to stab the boy to death.
