Police launched an investigation in December last year following a tip from a company where customers were buying suspiciously large amounts of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide). This is used as a drain unblocker, but is also a raw material for crystal meth. The investigation led to a house on Henrik Ibsenweg in Woerden.
