Veenendaal – The Public Prosecution Service is demanding maximum community service and hefty fines against three men who would have been involved in the trade in cannabis from a business premises in Veenendaal. The men from Arnhem, Apeldoorn and Veenendaal were arrested seven months ago after police officers checked a suspicious van. More than 29 kilos of hashish and hemp were hidden in secret storage spaces. The van had picked up the load in a building on Patrimoniumlaan in Veenendaal. Another 25 kilograms of cannabis was found there, including processed in 3000 ready-to-use joints. There were also items to weigh and pack the soft drugs.
