Anna Jönsson Haag has won Olympic gold and World Championship silver.
Now the hero returns to the ski tracks again.
The 36-year-old has received the prestigious assignment from SVT.
It was 2018 that Anna Jönsson The Hague, formerly just Anna Haag, made the decision to end her skiing career. She can look back on a long and successful career with an Olympic gold, triple Olympic silver, triple World Cup silver and a World Cup bronze.
Haag gets a new role
After his skiing career, the Swedish skiing hero has prioritized family life and married his former teammate Emil Jönsson The Hague. Together they have two children who brighten their everyday life.

But the 36-year-old hasn’t given up skiing completely either, but is still doing long-distance races and is active in Ski Classics. Now Anna Jönsson Haag gets the big prestigious assignment from SVT.

The Swede has been appointed as a traveling reporter for SVT during the broadcast of the Vasaloppet this year. Jönsson Haag will together with Jorgen Brink get your back on the elite in the Vasaloppet and try to keep up with the top tier as much as possible.

For Anna, this will be something completely new, but Brink has a solid grasp of the Vasaloppet, having won the classic competition three times before. SVT will also have four riding reporters further back in the field to keep an eye on the exercisers in the race.
