France has been waiting for this event for a century… And yet, with less than a month to go until the Olympic Games, it’s hard to feel the fervor rising. All eyes are more on the National Assembly than on the stadiums, just before the second round of the legislative elections. The composition of the French government will be shaken up a week before the arrival of the Olympic flame in Paris. So is this the final blow? Will the French manage to enjoy the party, or has the flame been extinguished?
