Janne Andersson has played his last match as national team captain for Sweden’s men’s national team. On Thursday, Expressen reported that Olof Mellberg is up for the job.
– I would like to focus one hundred percent on this, do the job, I haven’t thought much about it, he says to SVT Sport.
If the question comes up, it might have, what would you say?
– I’m not saying anything right now, the focus is on BP.
Mellberg has one game left with BP during the season, in the qualifier for the Allsvenskan, against Utsikten. BP won the first match 7–0, on Friday evening.
