Olivia Lisko has won the women’s Finnish championship in figure skating in Rauma. Lisko led the competition already after Saturday’s short program and was also the best in Sunday’s free program.
Espoo Jäätaiturit took a double victory, because Lisko’s teammate Linnea Ceder skated to silver before Janna from Jyrki.
The World Championships were the last show place before the European Championships to be held in Tallinn at the turn of January-February. Finland has two places for women’s single skating and ice dancing, but only one place for men’s single skating and pair skating. At Rauma, the men’s number one was experienced Valtter Virtanen.
The Figure Skating Association is scheduled to announce the EC selections today.
