Oksana fled with her two children. She left behind her job as a docent at a university in Kherson, the father of her children and her parents.
For nine months, she lived together with other refugees from Ukraine.
– I have never lived collectively where there are a lot of people and where it was difficult to work in peace and quiet. Now I am very happy that I can live alone with my children and have my own kitchen, my own bathroom and my own room. And I am grateful for all the people who have helped, says Oksana Siletckay.
Hear Oksana tell why she fled Ukraine and how she views life today in the clip above.
