A 69-year-old Ohsweken man accused of leaving the scene of a collision.

Six Nations Police responded to a collision on Tuscarora Road at about 9:45 pm on Monday, July 22.
Witnesses provided a description and location of a vehicle that left the scene following the collision.
Officers found the vehicle and suspected driver at a Tuscarora Road residence and noticed the driver showed impairment signs. The accused was unable to provide suitable breath samples on an approved screening device, said police.
The man has been charged with impaired operation, failure or refusal to comply, fail to stop at accident, dangerous driving, operation while prohibited, three counts of driving while under suspension, use plate not authorized for vehicle, drive motor vehicle – no license, fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle, and fail to surrender insurance card.
The vehicle was impounded, and the accused is set to appear in court at a later date.
