The 4 Winds Entertainment (T4W) announced that it has entered into a strategic marketing and communications partnership with Niantic to support the Turkish language release of Pokémon GO this year. With Niantic adding Turkish language support to Pokémon GO on Apple App Store and Google Play since February, T4W has reached an agreement to support Niantic in this country where the company has been operating for many years. Developed in partnership with The Pokémon Company, Pokémon GO allows players to catch Pokémon, hatch eggs, trade, compete against each other, participate in immersive events, complete quests and explore new places.
“We want to build a strong Pokémon GO trainer community in Turkey,” said Omar Téllez, Niantic’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. Our relationship with 4 Winds Entertainment will help us accelerate that.”
The 4 Winds Entertainment and Niantic will launch a series of innovators across Turkey in 2022. marketing activity will work together to devise a variety of ways to perform, enable players and Pokémon fans here to communicate in Turkish via the official community channel @PokemonGOTR on Twitter and Facebook, and achieve much more in the near future. Each activity will be designed to underline the discovery-based nature of the game and to raise awareness of the richness of Turkish culture.
