French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that he is running for reelection for next month’s presidential election.

For this reason, Macron stated that he is a candidate for reelection in the presidential election.

Pointing out that they will strengthen the economy in order for the country to gain independence, Macron stated that he will give priority to education and the demands of teachers and will fight injustices.

Macron stated that this election will determine the direction of the country’s next 5 years.

COLLECTED 500 SIGNATURES

Although he has not announced it yet, Macron’s candidacy in the French public was regarded as certain.

Macron, who has postponed the announcement of his candidacy until today due to the Kovid-19 epidemic and the Russia-Ukraine war, collected the necessary 500 signatures for his candidacy from the mayor, regional council member, deputies or senators.

Candidates have until 6 p.m. local time tomorrow for their official application to the Constitutional Court.

FIRST TOUR ON 10 APRIL

The first round of the presidential election in the country will be held on April 10. If any of the candidates fails to obtain an absolute majority in the first round, the two candidates with the most votes will compete in the second round to be held on April 24. (AA)
