Ondrej Kudela, a Czech defender who insulted Glen Kamara, a midfielder of the Finnish national football team and the Scottish club Rangers, a year ago, withdrew his complaint about the ban from the case.

Kudela was banned from playing ten matches last April after the European Football Association (Uefa) ruled that he had racially insulted Kamara. Kudela denied the racist comment and appealed his ban on gambling to the International Court of Appeal for Sport, CAS.
– This thing has been going on for a long time, now I just want to focus on football. After much deliberation, I have instructed my attorneys to end the appeals process, Kudela said.
Kudela still didn’t mention what he said to Kamara, but the 34-year-old Czech national team player apologized for the conflict.
– I realize it was a mistake to go say something to Glen Kamara. Emotions were on the surface during the match, and unfortunately I don’t get what happened. I’m so sorry, Kudela announced on his club’s website.
Kamara received a three-match ban from the case due to violent behavior. On Monday, he said he was pleased that Kudela withdrew his CAS complaint.
