Otterville resident killed in crash in Norfolk

Chatham-Kent police have arrested and charged an off-duty member of the Windsor Police Service with impaired driving.

Early Saturday, shortly after 1 am, police conducted a traffic stop in downtown Chatham. The driver of the vehicle, Windsor police Const. Warren Anglin, was arrested and charged with impaired operation and having a blood-alcohol level exceeding 80 mg, according to a media release.

Windsor police have suspended Anglin.

On October 3 of last year, Anglin was charged with impaired driving after Windsor police arrested him following a motor vehicle crash in downtown Windsor.

“He had been reassigned to administrative duties since the incident,” Chatham-Kent police stated.

“As the matter is currently before the court, the Chatham-Kent Police Service and Windsor Police Service will not be releasing any further information in regards to this incident.”
