Spider-Man: Long Way Home? Spider-Man: Home Run? Spider-Man: Are We Home Yet? No matter what Spider-Man 4 ends up being called, Marvel fans can’t wait to see the friendly neighborhood spider in action again in the form of Tom Holland. And Something is finally happeningas far as the film is concerned.

As Comic Book has learned, Holland’s Peter Parker slip into the red and blue skin again in September or October of this yearto experience the next superhero adventure. Co-star Zendaya aka MJ is reportedly back and is prioritizing the project over her HBO series Euphoria, whose third season will be delayed.

Spider-Man 4 is scheduled to be shot in 2024: But who is directing?

Justin Lin, who car action fans know from several parts of The Fast and the Furious series, is said to be in discussion for the big job. Ensemble casts in sci-fi settings are not new territory for him either, as Lin also directed Star Trek Beyond for Paramount. It has not yet been confirmed whether he will actually get the Spider job.

A tried and tested alternative would of course be his colleague Jon Watts, who contributed the Sony films Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home. With plenty of success, as one can say. After all, the third film in the current Spider series is in the top 10 of the most financially successful films of all time.

Spider-Man: If I were a superhero…

What happens next in Spider-Man 4 with Peter & Co.?

At the end of No Way Home, the visitors from other dimensions (ironically) returned home. However, Peter had to make a big sacrifice to finally undo Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) spell: he let the Marvel wizard erase all memories of him and ultimately decided against introducing himself to MJ as her boyfriend again.

So Spider-Man is once again completely anonymous in New York and swings through the criminal neighborhood in a freshly sewn costume. Unfortunately, we don’t know anything more about the top secret (and probably not even finished) plot of the upcoming sequel. But maybe Tom Holland will blurt things out in an interview again soon…
