What is the date of the Odysséa race in 2022?
The best-known Odysséa race is the one that takes place at Paristo Vincennes castle, them October 1 and 2, 2022. But several cities organize their Odysséa race:
- Odyssea Brest: September 11, 2022 (Le Relecq Kerhuon)
- Odyssea Cannes: October 23, 2022 (Boulevard du Midi Louise Moreau)
- Odyssea Reunion: November 5 and 6, 2022 (Salt pond)
What is the Odysséa race for?
The Odysséa race raises funds for the fight against breast cancer. Thanks to the funds raised, many research projects can be funded at Gustave Roussy and to the Curie Institute. Many patient associations can also benefit from its funds, such as Toujours Femmes, Europa Dona, AVEC, Vivre comme avant… The first Odysséa race took place in 2002, bringing together 1,000 women at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. In 2021, 20,000 people participated in Odysséa. Thanks to their registration, donations and support from partners (solidarity shopping, etc.), more than €507,000 were collected: 455,000 euros to Gustave Roussy for breast cancer research, and 52,000 euros to the Prolific Association and its research project ATIP3, a new protein that slows the progression of breast cancer tumors and metastases .
To register for the Paris edition, you must first choose your course on the Odyssea Paris website. Several routes are available to you (see below) Once you have chosen your route, you must complete your details on the online form and you must join a medical certificate (if you have chosen the 10 km timed course). You validate your registration, pay and you will receive by email your invitation for the D-day. The deadline for registration is Sunday September 25 At 20 o ‘clock. It is also possible to register your company for groups of at least 30 people. If you don’t want to run, you can do joint participation and support the cause by buying your pink Odysséa t-shirt for 15 euros.

- Solidarity Zumba : 15 euros (start 11am)
- 1km children “I run for Mom” - from 5 to 12 years old included (departure 2 p.m.), 10 euros
- 5 km untimed solidarity walk – from 5 years old (departure 3:00 p.m.), 18 euros
► Sunday October 2, 2022:
- 10 km timed – from 16 years old (departure 9:00 am), 30 euros
- 5 km untimed race – from 8 years old (departure 11:00 am), 25 euros
- 5 km untimed walk – from 5 years old (departure 11:00 am), 25 euros
► Connected races via the Odysséa mobile application, from September 26 to October 9, 2022
- 5 km connected – from 14 years old, 25 euros
- 10 km connected – from 16 years old, 25 euros
Where to pick up your bib for the Odysséa race?
To pick up your bib (and your T-shirt if you have chosen this option), go to one of the following hotlinesequipped with your summons and an identity document.
- Decathlon Paris Wagram – 26 Avenue de Wagram, 75008 Paris – Monday September 26 to Friday September 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Vincennes castle – Saturday October 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
No need to remove your bib for connected distance races. Only the t-shirt is to be removed, if you have chosen the option that includes it.
Do I need a medical certificate to participate in Odysséa?
A valid medical certificate, less than a year oldis obligatory for all those registered for a 10 km race (whether for the meeting in Paris or for distance races connected via the Odysséa mobile application). On the other hand, it is not required for runners or 5 km walkers.
- Register for the Odysséa Paris connected distance race by choosing one of the distances offered (5 km connected or 10 km connected).
- Download the Odysséa mobile app for free (on Android or IOS).
- Recover the access codes in the registration confirmation email (sent by [email protected]) or click on “forgotten password” if you cannot find them.
- Train as many times as you want and accumulate kilometers for the fight against breast cancer.
- Activate your GPS and click on “I Istart my race” between September 26 at 8 a.m. and October 9 at 6 p.m.
- Share your performance and take an end-of-race selfie
