In a message to Expressen, Liseberg’s board says that they want to rebuild Oceana again.
– We have felt fantastic support from everyone involved. The love the people of Gothenburg and all of Sweden have shown the project and Liseberg in this difficult time has been priceless, says Kurt Eliasson (S), who is chairman of Liseberg’s board, to Expressen.
– The fire was devastating, but it should not stop the development of the destination Liseberg, says Eliasson to the newspaper.
The construction of Oceana cost 1.2 billion, according to information Gothenburg Post.
