According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, former US President Barack Obama is among the 500 affected. The Russian decision is in response to a US entry ban for designated Russian citizens.
In addition to the former president, other American celebrities are on Russia’s blacklist. Among them can be mentioned talk show hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers. Additionally, CNN anchor Erin Burnett and MSNBC news anchors Rachel Maddow and Joe Scarborough are on the list, which also includes politicians and business executives of companies that supply Ukraine with weapons.
