Nyåker’s gingerbread dough tastes like vomit according to customers

In September, something went wrong when the company Nyåkers in Nordmaling municipality produced gingerbread dough. Several customers have testified on social media that the dough and the gingerbread tasted different, to say the least.

Spy and washing-up liquid are some of the tastes that customers felt when they ate the dough and cookies, reports P4 Västerbotten.

The company states that the error is due to the coconut fat in the margarine being exposed to moisture during a chemical process. The gingerbread dough must be harmless, Nyåkers states.

Customers who contacted the company with complaints should receive compensation, according to the radio.
