Gamers have suffered for several months from a shortage of components, including Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards, but products are starting to be available in stock again.
To facilitate research and show that its cards are available at normal prices, the GPU manufacturer has set up a special page on its site called Restocked & Reloaded (which we will briefly translate Back in stock and fully charged). Indeed, the shortage of components linked, mainly to the pandemic, has caused a black market effect with boards sometimes selling for four times more than their recommended retail price.
So we went to the page and found three GeForce RTX 30-series cards:
- Asus GeForce RTX 3060 V2 OC Dual 12 GB : 449 euros.
- Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti GAMING OC 8GB LHR : 809.99 euro.
- MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GAMING X TRIO 12GB LHR : €1,459.99.
The page also mentions four gaming PCs with GeForce RTX 30-series cards and… a $379.90 GeForce RTX 2060 card. The manufacturer works with partners such as Rue du Commerce, Topachat and Grosbill to highlight the availability of its products.
So there’s not a whole lot to choose from, but that’s just the beginning and Nvidia says the page will be updated every Thursday at 3pm with new SKUs.
