NVIDIA has released a new Game Ready Driver for Baldur’s Gate 3 players and other gamers. This driver will improve gaming performance on PCs with compatible graphics cards.
Performance boost for Baldur’s Gate 3 players
Baldur’s Gate 3 players can download the new Game Ready Driver for those with NVIDIA graphics cards and boost the performance of Larian Studios’ popular game. With this latest GeForce driver, Baldur’s Gate 3 will not only get huge benefits, but two other games like Gord and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will also get new features on supported RTX graphics cards.
NVIDIA releases driver updates every few weeks, optimizing and improving performance across a wide range of games. The new Game Ready Drivers arrived just three weeks after NVIDIA’s previous drivers. Previous drivers had added support for the RTX 4060Ti 16GB and supported ray-tracing in games like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and Portal: Prelude RTX.

The latest driver version for NVIDIA graphics cards is 536.99. Users must have 675.66 MB of free space to download and install it. After installing Baldur’s Gate 3 players playing in high resolution will see an increase in their performance.
According to the firm, gamers using RTX 40 series cards will see more than 40 FPS boosts with DLSS 2 enabled, especially on Baldur’s Gate 3 played at 4K at Maximum settings in performance mode with DLSS 2 enabled. Although Baldur’s Gate 3 does not currently support DLSS 3, cards such as the RTX 30 series and above can use DLSS 2 to varying degrees on Baldur’s Gate 3, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Gord in the latest driver update.
The graphics card manufacturer’s game driver update comes just days after Larian Studios released an extensive bug fix patch for Baldur’s Gate 3. This patch fixed more than 150 issues one day after the full game’s release. With a high rating of 97 on the Metacritic review aggregation site, Baldur’s Gate 3 is listed as one of the highest-rated games of 2023 and is a strong candidate for game of the year.
