NVIDIA Game Ready driver for Atomic Heart released

When Atomic Heart was released on February 21st, GeForce RTX gamers were able to capture a high level of performance in the game powered by NVIDIA DLSS 3, NVIDIA DLSS 2 and NVIDIA Reflex technologies.

With DLSS 3 enabled, 4K performance is increased by 90% to 184 FPS with the GeForce RTX 4090, while this figure is increased by 80% to 146 FPS with the GeForce RTX 4080. With the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti at 1440p, DLSS 3 improves performance by 62% when running at maximum settings above 160 FPS. DLSS 3 can also help improve performance in CPU-bound scenarios.

Ready for the game with THE FINALS closed beta!

THE FINALS by Embark Studios is a free-to-play shooter that offers unique gameplay experiences set in a destroyed world. The highly anticipated game is also powered by NVIDIA technologies, including:

NVIDIA Reflex – Activated with a single click in the Options menu, Reflex reduces system lag by up to 55%, making gameplay even more responsive and helping reduce in-game lag. In competitive shooters like THE FINALS, Reflex support gives players a competitive edge that can make the difference between life and death.

NVIDIA DLSS – RTX gamers maximize performance by enabling AI powered NVIDIA DLSS technology.

NVIDIA RTXGI is used to accurately calculate light and shadow as buildings blow up and walls collapse. RTXGI uses hardware accelerated ray tracing to instantly produce richer and more realistic global lighting. Players can experience the light that bounces realistically around the environment of RTXGI’s Dynamic mode, while interacting with the world shrouded in volumetric fog and smoke.

A new two-week closed beta on March 7 gives players the chance to experience THE FINALS before it launches this year.

NVIDIA RTX Video Super Resolution Support Coming

RTX Video Super Resolution is an AI rendering upgrade tool that allows GeForce owners to watch video enhanced with AI-enhanced clarity on 1440p or 4K displays. GeForce RTX 30 and 40 Series GPUs process lower resolution videos played in your Chrome or Edge browsers to improve video quality.

Combining the power of NVIDIA Tensor Cores with cutting-edge AI image processing techniques, RTX VSR intelligently sharpens and enhances features and edges while eliminating distracting artifacts. RTX VSR works with most videos played in a browser, including content from platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Netflix, Disney+ or Hulu.
