The general financial crisis of nursing homes, whose sessions opened on Tuesday, has been spreading for two years, with negative effects on the quality of care for residents, without the solutions implemented being sufficient to stem it. The cause is increasingly severe budgetary restrictions due to inflation, the cost of energy or the payroll. The difficulties are particularly marked in public and associative establishments, which represent 80% of nursing homes.
