Nurses in Region Västerbotten rage over the new salary supplement

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

• Occupational categories that may be covered by the proposal (provided that the criteria below are met) are basic nurses, X-ray nurses, specialist nurses, midwives, biomedical analysts and assistant nurses.

• The salary supplement for employees who are scheduled day, evening, night and weekend within the 24-hour care corresponds to: SEK 3,000/month for nurses (incl. midwives and X-ray nurses), biomedical analysts SEK 1,000/month for assistant nurses. Employees who only work evenings, nights and weekends via standby receive half the sum above.

• The supplement is calculated on a full-time basis and decreases in relation to the degree of employment.

• The salary supplement applies retroactively from 1 December 2022 and is adjusted according to employment rate.

• Covered employees have scheduled work day, evening, night and weekend within the round-the-clock care at one of the county’s hospitals or infirmary in Southern Lapland. The investment is linked to the county’s care facilities, but employees in maternity operations, emergency departments, ambulance operations, surgery and anesthesia operations, laboratory operations and X-rays are included.

• Employees who divide their working time between 24-hour care and reception activities/daytime work must work (day, evening, night and weekend) most of their time in 24-hour care to be covered, corresponding to 60% of the total working time must be performed 24/7- care.

• The salary supplement ends if the employee changes workplace/working hours and the criteria above are not met.

• The investment is not limited in time, but applies until further notice after a decision by the Health and Medical Services Board.

• Timetable: Payout of salary supplement takes place in connection with salary in February.
