Utrecht – The number of people in the province who died in a traffic accident decreased last year compared to the year before. In 2023 there were 40 fatal traffic victims in Utrecht, in 2022 there were 41 traffic fatalities and the year before that 47 victims. Nationally, more cyclists than car occupants died in accidents. That reports the Central Bureau of Statistics today.
