The measure was introduced in 2022 and extended and expanded to Lombok-Oost last year because the problems partly shifted. Now, there seems to be a shift again. The number of incidents in and around the station and Lombok-Oost is also “unabatedly high”, the board writes. For example, in the first half of the year, the police registered 1752 incidents in the Station area and Lombok-Oost, compared to 1566 incidents in the same period last year.
