The nuisance at the bubble roof at Utrecht Central Station and the head of Lombok has been going on for about a year and a half. It involves stabbings, intimidation, fights and pickpocketing. It previously became clear that those causing nuisance are mainly undocumented immigrants and asylum seekers from safe countries. In 2022, the mayor already intervened with extra police and camera surveillance to combat the nuisance.
