Unions are preparing actions and possible strikes at the Dutch Railways. Yesterday afternoon an ultimatum they had issued to the railway company expired and the NS did not meet their demands for a new collective labor agreement. The public transport company itself said it was previously disappointed in the attitude of FNV, CNV and VVMC and is threatening a lawsuit to prevent strikes.
